In the bustling halls of NEC Birmingham, Inspired Print Solutions undertook a remarkable project at EvViva restaurant in Hall 3. The mission: to transition from a traditional Italian restaurant with extended dwell times to a dynamic, quick-service, and industrial street food concept known as Str(eat) Kitchen.

Project Details

The transformation unfolded over a three-week installation period and required the use of specific architectural films to achieve the desired effect:

Cover Styl U10 Dark Concrete: Cover Styl's Dark Concrete architectural film played a pivotal role in encapsulating the desired industrial ambiance. Its dark and rugged texture brought a sense of raw authenticity to the space.

VION Dichroic Ambience Glow Window Film: VION Dichroic was strategically employed to enhance the windows, contributing to the vibrant and dynamic street food theme. This unique film is characterised by its ability to create a stunning interplay of colours as light interacts with it.

"The concrete Cover Styl is not only visually appealing but also practical, being wipeable and flame-resistant.

The dichroic film exceeded expectations, delivering a spectacular effect on the windows unlike any other. There are proposals for rolling out this same concept to other units."
