Kitchen wrapping is booming in the UK, and if you’re here, you’re probably looking to bring this in-demand skill to your business. At William Smith, we know the impact that quality, professional-grade wrapping can have—but we also know the damage poorly executed DIY jobs are doing to the industry. Too many rushed wraps using cheap vinyl are giving kitchen wrapping a bad name, and we’re here to change that.

Our two-day Kitchen Application Training Course at Barnard Castle is designed specifically for professionals like you, equipping you with everything you need to deliver exceptional, lasting results that your clients will love.

Meet Your Trainers

To guide you through this hands-on course, we’re proud to introduce two industry experts:

John Raine, our Training & Application Manager at the William Smith Academy, brings years of experience and a detail-driven approach to kitchen wrapping. His sessions emphasise precision, from surface preparation through to the final finish, ensuring you understand not only how to wrap but also why each step matters. John’s methodical style has earned him a reputation for empowering his students, giving them confidence even with challenging wraps.

Phil Moran, from Wrapture Architectural Wraps, is our expert in kitchen wraps. With years of real-world experience, Phil is here to share insider tips and methods that will make a lasting difference to your work. His hands-on guidance will help you avoid common pitfalls and deliver the professional quality that clients expect.

Course Overview

Theory

We start with a morning session dedicated to the essentials of kitchen wrapping. You’ll dive deep into the capabilities of different materials, discussing which options work best for specific surfaces and the key dos and don’ts for durability. From how each material performs to its application on various kitchen appliances, you’ll leave this session equipped with essential knowledge. Plus, Phil will share expert tricks you can apply when approaching projects.

Application

With theory in hand, it’s time to put your skills into action. This practical segment is designed to give you a comprehensive hands-on experience. Under the guidance of John and Phil, you’ll cover preparation methods, film application techniques, and practice wrapping everything from flat cabinets to contoured appliances. With small class sizes and two dedicated trainers, you’ll have all the support you need, and any questions you have can be addressed as you go.

Expand Your Reach with Our Installer Network

Completing the course isn’t just about learning; it’s about opening doors. Once certified, you’ll gain access to our exclusive installer network.
