We’re pleased to introduce Avery Dennison’s new ADfend™ Pro Series to our paint protection film range, giving PPF installers a new generation of film designed around installation efficiency, long term performance and a premium finish.
Launching this October, the range initially includes two finishes: ADfend Pro Gloss and ADfend Pro Matte. Both are backed by a warranty of up to 10 years, with further finishes and thicknesses set to join the range in the future.
Designed with installers in mind
Installation time can have a big impact on the profitability of a PPF job, particularly for installers working through a busy schedule.
Avery Dennison has developed ADfend Pro using a new thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) formulation, offering high conformability and faster adhesion build. Once installers become familiar with the handling and application technique, this can help increase installation speed without compromising on the finished result.
As with any new film, there will be a period of familiarisation. Avery Dennison recommends installers take the time to understand the film’s handling characteristics during their first applications before taking full advantage of its potential speed benefits.
“Demand for paint protection continues to grow, and our customers are looking for films that help them complete jobs efficiently without compromising on finish. ADfend Pro delivers on both counts, and once installers are familiar with the film, the time savings can make a real difference across a busy schedule,” says Lindsay Hutchinson, Head of Marketing at William Smith Group 1832.
