We are pleased to introduce the newly re-engineered Avery Dennison MPI 1103 EA Smart Wrap+, now available from William Smith.
The updated digital wrapping film retains the familiar 50-micron white cast construction of MPI 1103 EA Smart Wrap, but now features a reworked adhesive designed to provide lower initial tack and improved repositionability during installation.
For vehicle wrappers and graphics installers, this means more time to align each panel correctly and less time spent lifting, correcting and reapplying film.
Greater Control During Application
The previous version of MPI 1103 was known for gripping firmly as soon as it made contact with the surface. While this could work well when a panel was positioned correctly on the first attempt, it left installers with little room for adjustment.
The new MPI 1103 EA Smart Wrap+ has been developed to release more easily when repositioning is required. Installers can lightly lift and realign the film rather than completely removing and reapplying the panel.
This is particularly beneficial when working in warmer installation conditions, where increased surface temperatures can cause adhesives to grab more aggressively.
Across a complete vehicle wrap, even small improvements to positioning and handling can help reduce application time, avoid damaged panels and keep the job moving efficiently.
“Every installer has experienced the moment when a panel lands slightly out of position and immediately refuses to move,” explains Lindsay Hutchinson, Head of Marketing at William Smith Group 1832.
“This updated version gives installers a valuable opportunity to lift and realign the material. Across a full vehicle, those saved seconds can quickly add up to a meaningful reduction in installation time.”
