At William Smith Group 1832, we recently faced a unique problem of our own. The day-to-day availability of meeting rooms was becoming an increasing issue. With limited space to work with, we decided to get creative and transform a small area in our Marketing Office foyer into a functional meeting room.

 

The Context and Challenge

 

Our goal was to create a glass partition instead of a solid wall to keep the natural light flowing through the only window in the room while still ensuring privacy.

While a solid wall would have solved the space issue, it would block the natural light coming through the window, making the entrance too dark. Once the new ‘Glass Room’ was installed, we realised the need for a decorative window film that could perfectly balance natural light transmission with style and privacy.
