A premium cast 50-micron Gloss White repositionable film with FLITE air release technology, Arlon SLX is considered to be “a game changer” when it comes to print wrap films for partial vehicle and fleet applications.
Challenges Sign Systems Were Facing With Latex Machines
When Harrogate-based AD Bell Sign Systems contacted us about issues it had finding a product which would work in its latex machines, we were more than happy to introduce SLX.
The Company was working on the full wrap of a vehicle and knew of the potential issues which could be caused by the vehicle’s complex panels.
“We had lost trust in other products after encountering delamination issues,” said Chris Hutchinson, from AD Bell Sign Systems.
Why Arlon SLX Works The Best For Them
“We’ve found that SLX goes through the latex machines spot on, reacting well with temperatures. The re-positionable side of things is also very handy, in fact I would go as far as saying it saves us a man.
Not only does it pull less dirt off the floor, the way the backing paper comes off and can be repositioned, hugely saves us time.”
While still in the early days of wrapping with Arlon SLX, Chris and his team are taking their time to get used to the product, and found attending one of our courses was a great help.
Chris continued: “Enrolling on one of the courses put on by William Smith was very helpful and informative, as we got to get a real feel for the product before committing to buying it.
“Although we might not have been using SLX as long as other companies, we’re all delighted by the competitive price and ease of fitting and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for vehicle wrapping.”
