Bamboo Creations Ltd, a print and production company that create graphic solutions, based in Oxfordshire, have completed an impressive project at the prestigious Royal Ascot, bringing their press room to life with the help of 3M DI-NOC Architectural Film.

Bamboo Creations were tasked with providing a luxurious look and functionally performing solution to the reception lecterns and bar area within the Royal Ascot press room.

‘’It was made clear from the outset of this project that the environment would endure high traffic, so it was absolutely paramount that we used a product that could stand up to that. In addition, our client wanted a product that looked the part too, ensuring that it was in keeping with its high-end surroundings. As a result, there was only ever one option, 3M DI-NOC Architectural Film,’’ said Edward Dixon, Managing Director of Bamboo Creations Ltd.

Ed added, ‘’In terms of the aesthetic our clients were looking for, it was fairly niche, as they needed a specific look to tie in with the rest of the interior design. Following a consultation and a browse through the DI-NOC pattern book, we settled on LE-2741, a green leather finish for the front and sides of the units, and AE-1642 for the base and tops of units, providing a gold, vibrant finish.’’

In most cases, 3M DI-NOC is used to recover existing environments to provide a new lease of life. However, in this instance, joiners were used to create bespoke units which were then wrapped in architectural film. The project was completed seamlessly by the Bamboo Creations team with the desired results executed perfectly throughout the installation.
