Training Is Back At William Smiths
William Smith Group 1832 are delighted to announce the re-opening of the William Smith Training Academy following the ease of restrictions in the UK.
Since the 20th of May, the training courses at Barnard Castle have recommenced, in line with the necessary government guidelines, which include; smaller group sizes, social distancing measures, pre course lateral flow tests, face coverings, as well as sanitisation and thorough cleaning.
Head of Marketing at William Smith Group 1832, Chris Bradley, said: ‘’We are incredibly excited to have the William Smith Training Academy back up and running. The last 12 months have been so challenging for everyone, including ourselves and our loyal customers so, to see customers on site, passing through our training facility, once again, is fantastic!’’

The Training Academy offers a whole host of courses, and is devoted to inspiring those in the sign, graphics and interiors industries, which it has worked with for over a century.
The majority of the courses are delivered by the group’s architectural and building-related films division, Architextural. Delegates on Architextural’s courses have the option to become part of the firm’s Installer Network, which provides fantastic business opportunities in the UK and ongoing support through sales and marketing materials to help increase sales.
Vehicle wrappers who are looking to develop their skills could benefit from a comprehensive two-day Vehicle Wrap Training Course, which covers all the basic techniques using a range of branded digital print and coloured wrap films, including Avery Dennison, 3M™ and Arlon.
