The Perfect Kitchen Renovation with Cover Styl’

05/08/2020

Vinyl Renovations Ltd, a specialist architectural wrapping company from Leicester have completed a fantastic residential kitchen project in the Bushby area. With the help of Cover Styl’ architectural finishes, the team have overhauled three separate applications within a kitchen environment; the doors/draws, worktops and tiles have been transformed with film.

The team from Vinyl Renovations faced their first obstacle due to the Coronavirus, which meant meeting their client for an initial consultation was not viable due to the lockdown the country was in.

‘’At the front end of the project we decided to include a social distancing consultation as part of all new quotes following the governments Covid-19 guidelines. So, with this client we arranged a video call to discuss the project.’’ Said Tesh Patel, Director of Vinyl Renovations Ltd.

With the kitchen units still structurally sound, the client was already sold on the concept of using architectural film to recover them… and save all the disruption and costs of replacement. The main challenge for Vinyl Renovation was to match the customer’s design aspiration for their kitchen units, tiles, worktops and tabletop with the right patterns from the Cover Styl’ range.

Tesh added ‘’After sending samples via the post our client decided on the Velvet Grain K5 for the kitchen units, to match their desire to create a warm and smooth look, and at 245 microns thick its very strong and durable. The customer also wanted a cold touch to the design, so we went for the matt marble NE31 for the tiles and the worktop, which balanced the design well. For the tabletop Ash marble U50 was used, which is the most realistic marble vinyl in the market.’’

‘’The results were excellent. Our client is wowed every time they see their new upcycled kitchen, and as a result of the project we have received multiple recommendations through this for more kitchen and furniture vinyl installations. We had every confidence in this kind of result because we only use the best vinyl products, and the Cover Styl’ range has market leading quality and features that we need to be able to deliver the highest standard of craftmanship on our projects.’’
