Design considerations

Design of the wrap should take into consideration graphic joins within vehicle panels; choose the appropriate material for different vehicle shapes and sizes; understand the limitations of the vinyl; and choose the appropriate application technique for the contours of the vehicle to be wrapped.

Tips for a winning wrap

Plan your design properly. Check the bodywork for recent paint or repairs. Choose the right film for the right application. Before you begin, check the temperature – is it too cold/hot to wrap?

Make sure the vehicle is clean then apply the wrap to the flattest part of the panel first. Allow time, don’t rush. Allow plenty of excess to avoid overstretching then remember to post heat!
