In March 2023, Blue Sky Signs Ltd undertook an ambitious project to design a van wrap that would make a cleaning company's vehicle stand out spectacularly. The objective was to create a design that was as unique as it was eye-catching, using the highly acclaimed 3M Print Wrap Film IJ280.

Material Selection

"We've recently started using IJ280, and it's quickly become our top pick for challenging wraps," shared the Blue Sky Signs team.

Design Journey and Implementation

Transforming the van took a blend of creativity and technical prowess. The design process evolved over several weeks, with the final print completed in a few days and the fitting in three. Initially challenged by a low-resolution image from the client, the team utilised AI technology to enhance and adapt the image, achieving a high-quality, detailed finish that extended to the roof.

The application of IJ280 was a smooth process, praised by the installation team for its ease and efficiency. "The material stretches beautifully without compromising the print quality, making it ideal for intricate wraps like this one," remarked Dave Oldfield from Blue Sky Signs.
