How To Transform Vehicles With 3M Vinyl Film
James Alpe Ltd’s latest project has brought a little taste of the Caribbean using 3M Digital Print Film IJ180Cv3 supplied by William Smith.
The team at James Alpe took on the challenge of refurbishing Levi Roots’ Reggae Reggae sauce promotional vehicle, turning the unique stretch VW camper into a fully-fledged kitchen on wheels!
The vehicle was given a complete make-over by replacing the floor, cupboards, worktops, fridges, over surrounds and installing a hand wash machine. The bumpers were colour coded and the drivers cab refurbished. As well as a brand new full body wrap using 3M IJ180Cv3 Digital Print Film laminated using 3M 8580 clear overlaminate.

3M IJ180Cv3 Series is a premium cast 50 micron film with a permanent, grey pigmented adhesive for excellent hiding power. For digital print applications to flat or moderately curved surfaces for car wraps and single step, shallow recessed vans.
In addition, Controltac adhesive makes IJ180Cv3 easy to reposition, enabling faster and easier application for large format graphics. Its Comply air release adhesive also provides an improved finish, resulting in time savings, faster turnaround and reduced wastage. 3M IJ180Cv3 is in stock and available for next day delivery on orders received before 6pm.
